World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Ranking Report

“World Bank’s Ease of doing business is an index created by two professional economist Simeon Djankov and Gerhard Pohl. The World Bank published this index. It is an aggregate figure that includes different algorithms parameters that define the level of business regulation ease of doing business in a country.”

Pakistan Ranking in Business

According to the

ofollow">World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Report, Pakistan’s rankings have improved by 28 levels in one year. The World Bank has released the Ease of Doing Business Report 2020. Pakistan ranks 136th to 108th in the list of 190 countries and is among the fastest-performing top ten countries in the report.
It ranks Pakistan 6th, meanwhile; it was easy to start a business in Pakistan, while tax payments and international trade have improved.Apart from this, it was easier to register the electricity power connection and property while issuing construction permits also improved.
Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted the report and said that another promise in our Declaration on Easy Business has fulfilled.Pakistan will be a great investment country before the end of 2020.
Pakistan is among the top 10 countries for improving the World Bank’s business environment.
